Dr. Van Camp    Dr. Lowry

Drs. Sandy Van Camp and Jennifer Lowry are very pleased to serve the diagnostic imaging needs of Flatiron Veterinary Specialists.  We are "hands on" radiologists and our goal is excellent rapport with our patients' family veterinarians and guardians.

Radiographic studies performed at FVS receive a timely written radiographic interpretation by board certified radiologists. We oversee FVS's radiographic contrast procedures and studies requiring complex positioning so that patients receive the quality results they deserve.  Producing high quality exams tailored to the differential diagnosis is our goal. Clients are also welcome to send any radiographic studies needing a second opinion to us for interpretation.  We're here to answer x-ray questions - please feel free to call.

All ultrasound studies at FVS are performed by an experienced board certified veterinary radiologist.  We have many years of formal training and on the job experience which can make the difference in challenging and confusing cases.  Our patients' guardians are welcome to be present for ultrasounds.  We communicate as we scan, so the best decisions for our patients are made promptly.  Our patients' family veterinarian receives an immediate report of ultrasound results, so that everyone is involved in the decision making process.  Ultrasound guided fine needle aspirate, biopsy, pleurocentesis, abdominocentesis and pericardiocentesis are all available as diagnostic and therapeutic options when needed.

Additional advanced diagnostic imaging procedures are available through FVS, in association with Colorado State University. Nuclear medicine, computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging procedures can all be readily scheduled.  We welcome your calls to answer any diagnostic imaging questions!
